2nd Quarter Newsletter 2025

Sai Ram Jai Maruthi Jai Maruthi! Never is there a day where the feeling of happiness,
positivity, love, and spirituality wavers, here in our ashram! This quarter started off with the Ram
Navami, then welcomed mango season, and ended with a 9-day homam in prayer of world peace.

April 6th was Ram Navami and was celebrated with a special pushpa alankaram at Ram
Darbar. Neermor and panakam were offered as naivyedyam. The devotees chanted mantras and
bhajans dedicated to Rama.

In May, Mandala Pooja was conducted as the culmination of a 48 day prayer consisting
of Vishnu Sahasranama everyday from the day after our Maha Kumbabhishekam. This Vishnu
Sahasranama was chanted by devotees worldwide. Starting on May 2nd evening, Chandi
Parayanam was performed. The next morning, Chandi Homam was performed followed by noon
Aarti and annadhanam. May also brought Agni Nakshatram. Unlike our usual summers, this
summer was bearable, with the heat being appeased by heavy rain on many days. It did get much
hotter in June, but the upside was the plentiful mangoes in our ashram! So perhaps due to the
abundance of sweet mangoes, it made the heat a little more bearable.

As of May 2025, SSDT devotees will be performing Chandi Homam every month on Maa’s nakshatra (Purvashaada) for the next 11 months. On the preceding evening of the homam,
Chandi Parayanam is performed. The next morning, the homam is performed. Chandi Homam is performed to empower the participant with all the good qualities – courage, strength,
fearlessness, balance, wealth, fame, health, and willpower. In May, Chandi Homam was
performed on the 3rd, and again on June 13th.

Aside from these poojas, for the sake of world peace, a 9 day homam beginning on June
24th was conducted by our ashram devotees. The mantras in this homam were in dedication to
Ganesha, Mahamrtyunjaya, Vishnu, Dhanvantari, and Bhairava. All SSDT devotees have
simultaneously been chanting these Gayatri mantras in their own homes as well.

On the charitable front, Sri Sai Darshan Trust extended financial assistance towards
different causes. Rs.19,220 was put towards the annual school fees for a UKG student to provide
educational assistance. Bhoomi Pooja was performed on the 24th of June to induct the
construction of restrooms in 4 government schools, which costs approximately Rs. 13 lakhs.

As always, it goes without saying that the Poornima pooja and Pradosha pooja, and
Annadhanam, are taking place without fail. Upcoming events include Guru Poornima on June
10th and our monthly Chandi Homam on June 12th. We thank you, all devotees and wellwishers, for your continuous support. Here’s to a wonderful quarter and year filled with love,
happiness, and good health!

May Baba’s grace and Maa’s blessings be showered on us all.
